Reservations, Down Payments & Payment
For B&B, Private Chef Services, Retreats or Celebration/Private Events:
A 50% down payment is requested to confirm your B&B, retreat or private event reservation. The balance is due at the end of your stay at Château Ladausse, or on the day of your event.
At this time, down payments paid by credit card can only be handled by telephone. We ask that you please do not send us sensitive credit card information by email. We will arrange a time for a phone call and will request the information by phone. It is secure in that we key in the data directly into the bank credit card machine and keep no trace of it.
For Cooking Lessons, Wine Tastings, and Open Table Supper Clubs:
To reserve your spot at these types of events, a confirmation of your attendance is absolutely necessary and can be made by email, telephone, or SMS. No down payment is required (unless it is a privatized group event). However, with your confirmation to attend, we rely on your participation and plan the event according to the committed headcount. Please consider this before deciding not to show up at the last minute! Of course, if you have a real emergency, please contact us to discuss. We plan to integrate on-line reservations into the next-generation website.
Acceptable Forms of Payment for all Events
Acceptable forms of payment include cash (Euros), local check, EFT/wire transfer or credit card (except American Express). Bank information pertaining to wire transfers will be provided upon request.
Changes to Your Reservations
Should you need to make a change to your previously established reservations, we will do our utmost to accommodate your needs and to find a suitable solution. We cannot guarantee, however, a successful outcome.

Miscellaneous
Loss or Damage
To your belongings: Château Ladausse is not responsible for loss or damage to your belongings while staying at Chateau Ladausse (unless, of course, we are responsible for it!).
To the belongings of Château Ladausse: Each person is responsible to cover any damages they may cause while on the property. Normal family insurance policies generally cover this. We suggest to check your policy before arrival.
Security Deposit for children less than 3 years
We request a security deposit of 500€ to cover any damage due to baby accidents. Unfortunately, we have had too many cases of damage in the past and this has made it necessary for us to take such a measure. If there is no damage upon your departure, we will happily return your security deposit check to you.
Use of Pool
Use of the swimming pool in a safe manner is your full responsibility. We remind our guests that a pool area always requires prudence, wet surfaces are slippery and depth of water is typically more than evaluated (effect of refraction, ask for details!). Château Ladausse will not be held responsible for any accidents that may happen at the pool. Parents have the responsibility of supervising their children at the pool, and all other areas of the property.
Season
We are open all year, however, this region is most active from May through October. During low season, we offer on-site dinners and accommodation to adventurous travelers. We are also available to travel to your location for private chef services.
